Image Viewer Dialog Box

You can specify display options for the Image Viewer widget for the iPhone and iPad, such as whether to display images in a slideshow, filmstrip, or matrix layout, or the color of the border to display around images in the widget. The Image Viewer widget is automatically displayed as an interactive slideshow when viewed on an Android device. To access the Image Viewer dialog box

  1. In Design Mode or Editable Mode, right-click the Image Viewer widget and select Properties and Formatting.
  2. From the left, select Widget.
  3. Click the Widget Properties button Widget Properties button.

The following options are available:

  • Display Style: Determine the display style to use to show images in the widget. The options are:
    • Slideshow (default): Display the images in an interactive slideshow. Users can switch between images by performing a horizontal swipe motion on the mobile device.
    • Filmstrip: Display the images in a filmstrip layout. Users can scroll through images vertically or horizontally, as determined by the Scroll Direction option described below.
    • Matrix: Display the images in a table layout, with evenly spaced rows and columns. You can specify the number of rows and columns displayed in the table using the Number of Rows and Number of Columns options described below.
  • Scroll Direction: Determine whether to display images in the widget in a vertical or horizontal layout. This option is only available if the Display Style option is set to Filmstrip.
    • Vertical (default): Images are displayed in a vertical layout. Users can perform a vertical swipe motion on the mobile device to scroll through the images.
    • Horizontal: Images are displayed in a horizontal layout. Users can perform a horizontal swipe motion on the mobile device to scroll through the images.
  • Number of Rows: Determine how many rows of images are displayed in the widget. This option is only available if the Display Style option is set to Matrix.
  • Number of Columns: Determine how many columns of images are displayed in the widget. This option is only available if the Display Style option is set to Matrix.
  • First Caption Line: Select the attribute form that contains the first line of captions you want to display for images in the widget.
  • Second Caption Line: Select the attribute form that contains the second line of captions you want to display for images in the widget.
  • Default Action Form: Select an attribute form to allow the user to tap on an image or image caption on the mobile device to drill on data or open the link defined for the attribute form.
  • Background Color: Select the background color of the widget by doing one of the following:
    • To display a transparent background color, click No Fill.
    • To display a solid background color, select the background color from the palette. You can access additional colors by clicking More Colors.
  • Border Color: Select the color of the border to display around the images in the widget by doing one of the following:
    • To display no borders, click No Fill.
    • To display a solid border color, select the border color from the palette. You can access additional colors by clicking More Colors.
  • Border Width: Select the thickness of the border to display around the images. The default value is 5 pixels.
