Band Name Editor
The default names of custom group bands are Band (1), Band (2), and so on. The Band Names Editor allows you to give more descriptive names to custom group element bands.

When you first open the editor, the Band Names list is blank. Use the following buttons to create new names:

Add inserts a band name in the list. By default, the first band appears as New Band 1 (Start #1 to End #2). Type a new name for the band.
You can use #1 and #2 as the placeholders for the beginning and ending values of the band. For example, for a band that starts at 1 and stops at 99, the name Start #1 to End #2 displays as Start 1 to End 99.

Edit modifies the selected name.

Remove deletes the selected name.

Remove All deletes all the names for this element. When the custom group is used on a report, the names display as the default of Band (1), Band (2), and so on.
Accessing the Band Name Editor
Do one of the following in the Custom Group Editor:

Select Show Band Names Editor from the Custom Group menu.

Right-click a custom group element header and select Show Band Names Editor.
This option is available only when a group element header containing a banding qualification is selected in the Custom Group Definition pane.
