Custom Group Editor toolbar options
The Custom Group Editor provides a set of toolbar icons to help define and modify custom groups. In addition to standard Windows options such as print, these icons include the following options specific to custom groups:
-
New Custom Group Element: creates a new custom group element in the Custom Group Definition pane.
-
Add to Custom Group Element: adds the selected object to a qualification in the selected custom group. A new qualification is created as necessary.
-
Insert Metric Banding: creates a band using the selected metric, with the Custom Group Band Qualification pane.
-
Insert Custom Group Prompt Element: creates a prompted qualification from the selected object.
-
If the selected object is an attribute, the Prompt Generation Editor opens, to create a prompted attribute qualification.
-
If the selected object is a hierarchy, metric, report, or filter, a hierarchy prompt qualification, a prompted metric qualification, a report object prompt, or a filter object prompt, respectively, is added as a qualification.
-
-
Rename: renames the selected custom group element or qualification. This icon is available for a qualification only if the custom group element contains at least two qualifications.
-
Increase Indent: indents the selected operator and its associated qualifications to the right. For example, two qualifications are connected through the AND operator. If you select the AND operator and increase the indent, the two qualifications along with the operator move to the right.
-
Decrease Indent: indents the selected operator and its associated qualifications to the left. For example, two qualifications are connected through the AND operator. If you select the AND operator and decrease the indent, the two qualifications along with the operator move to the left.
-
Move Up: moves the selected element one level up in the custom group display.
-
Move Down: moves the selected element one level down in the custom group display.
-
Collapse All: hides the qualifications in the Custom Group Definition pane.
An [Add Qualification] placeholder remains for each custom group element, allowing you to create additional qualifications.
-
Expand All: displays the qualifications in the Custom Group Definition pane.
