Custom Group Editor: Custom Group Options pane

The Custom Group Options pane allows you to select the type of qualification to create. Once the type is selected, the Custom Group Options pane is replaced by the appropriate pane for the qualification type. For example, if you select Add an Attribute qualification, the Attribute Qualification pane opens.

The Custom Options pane contains the following options:

• Add an Attribute qualification qualifies on an attribute's form or elements.

• Add a Set qualification qualifies on a set of attributes based on a metric or a relationship between attributes.

• Add a Shortcut to a report uses an existing report as a qualification.

• Add a Shortcut to a filter uses an existing filter as a qualification.

• Add a Custom Group Banding qualification slices a list of attribute elements using the values of a metric.

• Add an Advanced qualification allows you to use custom expressions and joint element lists.

  By default, the Advanced Qualification option is not shown. For instructions to enable this option, see Activating the advanced qualification option.

Accessing the Custom Group Options pane

1. In the Custom Group Editor, double-click anywhere in the Custom Group Definition pane.

If you double-click a completed qualification, the Custom Group Options pane does not appear. Instead, the appropriate pane for the qualification type appears.
