Formatting custom groups

Steps to format a custom group

You can format each element of a custom group separately. For example, one element can be formatted in a bold blue font, while another can be red and italicized.

You can also format different parts of each custom group element in different ways to differentiate them. The parts include the following:

  • Element Header: the name of the custom group element

  • Element Values: the metric values of the element

  • Individual Items Headers: the names of the individual items within the element

  • Individual Items Values: the metric values of those individual items

For example, you can format the items of one element as currency and of another as a percentage. The following diagram shows the various parts, each with different formatting.

Element 1 Header

$500

Individual Item 1 Header

$200

Individual Item 2 Header

$300

Element 2 Header
