Report Editor: Filter definition

The Filter definition pane (the Report Filter area on the right side of the editor, above the report's template) enables you to create shortcuts to stand-alone filters, reports (which can be used as filters), attribute qualifications, set qualifications, and advanced qualifications without having to open another editor.

Filters can be created within the report by dragging and dropping objects from the Object Browser into the Filter definition pane. From this pane, the Filter Editor opens which lets you define the following types of filters for the report:

  • Attribute Qualification

  • Set Qualification

  • Add a Shortcut to a Report

  • Add a Shortcut to a Filter

  • Advanced Qualification
