Format Cells dialog box

The Format Cells dialog box is where you set the formatting options for your report objects. You can format the number, font, alignment, border, and pattern for a row or column header and the values.

The Format Cells dialog box can contain any of the following tabs, depending on the object selected for formatting. Click each for more information:

• Alignment

• Background

• Border

• Font

• Number

• Chart (available only when formatting metric headers)

Accessing the Format Cells dialog box

You can access this dialog box from the Report Viewer, Report Editor, and Metric Editor.

From the Report Viewer:

Run a report. Right-click on a column header, row header, or values, choose Formatting, and then select the desired option.

From the Report Editor:

Edit the report. Right-click on a column header, row header, or values, choose Formatting, and then select the desired option.

From the Metric Editor:

Open the Metric Editor. From the Tools menu, choose Formatting, then either Headers or Values.
