Input Metric Formula dialog box

The Input Metric Formula dialog box allows you to create derived metrics, which are calculations defined on the fly with the data available in a report or document. Based on existing metrics in the report or document dataset, they provide simple column math capability. You can also edit percent-to-total, transformation, and rank shortcut metrics, which are a subset of derived metrics.

For documents, this dialog box also allows you to rename a summary metric. You cannot change the formula of a summary metric.
