Report Viewer menu bar options: Move menu

Options in this menu allow you to move data around in a report. The options that are available depend on which object in the report template you have selected.

• Swap Rows and Columns performs a complete pivot of the report data, moving all column objects to the rows, and all row objects to the columns.

• Move to Row converts the selected column to a row in a report.

• Move to Column converts the selected row to a column in a report.

• Move to Page-by moves a subset of data in a report into the page-by area at the top of the report. This functionality is only available in reports that have the page-by feature enabled. Page-by lets you group data on a report, by page, so that the data is easier to analyze. For information on page-by, see Grouping report data: Page-by.

• Move Left moves the selected column to the left.

• Move Right moves the selected column to the right.
