Report Viewer menu bar options: Insert menu

Options in this menu allow the application of dynamic calculations to metric data on a report.

• Percent to Total allows display of data, by row or column, based on the percent relationship between each item and the totals on a report.

• Transformations lets you compare results between current data and data obtained in a different, specified period (past week, past month, and so on).

• Rank lets you display report results according to rank (top 10; bottom 5, and so on).

• New Metric opens the Input Metric Formula dialog box, which is where you define a derived metric based on metrics already in use on a report.
