Layout Properties dialog box: Colors and Lines

The Colors and Lines section of the Layout Properties dialog box contains the following properties, which are applied to the selected layout of a multiple layout document or to the document as a whole, if it does not contain multiple layouts.

• Backcolor: Use the drop-down list to select the color to use as the background color of the layout.

• Border: Click Format to define how the borders are displayed for the layout, using the Border tab of the Format Cells dialog box. You can specify the style and color of the borders around the layout.

  In PDF View, the border is displayed at the edge of the printable area of the pages. In any display mode in MicroStrategy Web, the border is displayed around the HTML output of the document.

To format a different layout, select it before opening the Layout Properties dialog box. To select a layout, click its tab at the top of the Layout area.
