Document Editor: Properties dialog box

The Properties dialog box allows you to define the properties of the control or section selected in the Layout area. Properties include name, position, size, and hyperlinks, among others that are specific to the control selected.

These properties, combined with the formatting options available in the Format Objects dialog box, are also available in the Property List pane.

To access the Properties dialog box, select the control to be formatted. From the Format menu, choose Properties. You can also right-click a control and select Properties.

The tabs and properties displayed depend on the type of control or section selected. The Properties dialog box contains the following tabs:
