Arrangement

Style The different button styles determine whether a caption, icon, or both appear. A caption is the text that describes the button's action. The icon is a small image that represents the button's action. The Custom option uses an image that fills the button as its background.

Image

If the selected button style displays an icon or a custom image, specify the source of the images.

  • Normal state source The normal state before the user taps the button. Enter the location of the image to display in the normal state.
  • Highlight state source The highlighted (or selected) state after the user taps the button. Enter the location of the image to display in the highlighted state.

If the button is displayed in a tab bar, the images should be monochromatic.

 Display

Show button in highlight state by default If the button style is set to Caption only, clear the checkbox to display the button as highlighted after a user taps it. Otherwise, the button appears as highlighted and does not change.
