Fields
Selector
A Selector property is available for reports, widgets, and panel stacks (including filter panels). The Selector lists the attributes that target the selected control.
The list of attributes targeting the control is not automatically updated. To update the list, click Apply.
Export
The following properties are available for panel stacks, including filter panels. These properties determine how the panel stack is exported to Excel and PDF.
Clip contents of panel stack when exporting Select this option to clip overflowing content in a panel stack when you export the document. If you do not select this option and a panel stack containing overflowing content, the panel stack is not exported.
Expand panels Determine whether to only export the current panel or export all panels and display them either vertically or horizontally.
Spacing Type the amount of spacing, in inches, between the panels. This setting is available when Expand panels is set to Vertical or Horizontal.
Allow panels to split across pages Determines whether an individual panel can appear across multiple pages or a single page. This option applies to vertically expanded panels.
Transition (Flash Only)
These properties are available for grid reports, graph reports, widgets, and panel stacks, including filter panels. The Transition properties determine whether a transition animation is used to display the object when you open a document for the first time in Flash mode. The animation also takes place when you or another user chooses an item in a selector that affects an object such as a report. For example, a report can fade slowly onto the screen.
Flash mode is available only if your document was created before MicroStrategy 10.1 and was defined to display in Flash mode. Beginning with 10.1, Presentation Mode replaces Flash mode.
Selected Transition Select a type of transition animation for the object. This is the type of transition animation used for the object when the document is opened.
Speed Select a speed for the transition animation.
