3D Surface: Display category

In the Display category for 3D Surface graphs, some or all of the following options are available depending on what type of 3D Surface graph you are formatting:

  • Color Mode: You can display colors for the risers based on the series, categories, or height (the value of the series for each category) of the graph report. Select either Color by Series, Color by Categories, or Exact Color by Height from the drop-down list to view how the sample displays each option on the left.

  • Link wall colors to floor color: Determines if the floor and wall colors can be formatted individually or as a single three dimensional frame.

Select this check box to link formatting of the floor, right wall, and left wall. The formatting you define for the three dimensional frame is applied to the floor and both walls.

Clear this check box to allow the floor, right wall, and left wall to be formatted individually. Formatting for each floor or wall can be configured in the Background category of the Graph Preferences dialog box.

  • Left Wall: Displays or hides the left wall of the three-dimensional graph.

  • Right Wall: Displays or hides the right wall of the three-dimensional graph.

  • Floor: Displays or hides the floor of the three-dimensional graph.
