Surface: Additional formatting options

In addition to using the option tabs in the Graph Preferences dialog box to configure the graph components, you can also right-click some components in the graph to modify their look and feel or drill down to get details of report data.

For additional options available for all graph styles, see Additional options for all graph types.

Some or all of the following options are available depending on what graph substyle is displayed for your Surface graph report:

  • Format 3D Frames: Right-click any wall or floor of the graph, select Format 3D Frames from the pop-up list, and then select the desired Line and Fill format in the dialog box.

  • Format 3D Objects: Right-click an object in between the walls of the graph, select Format 3D Objects from the pop-up list, and then select the desired Line and Fill format in the dialog box.

  • Bar Width: Right-click an object in between the walls of the graph, select Bar Width from the pop-up list, and then select the desired width format from options of Minimum, Small, Medium, Large, or Maximum.

  • Format 3D Group Header: Right-click the Category Axis, select Format 3D Group Header, and then select the desired Font format in the dialog box.

  • Format 3D Series Header: Right-click the Series Axis, select Format 3D Series Header, and then select the desired Font format in the dialog box.

  • Format 3D Right/Left Y1 Header: Right-click the Value Axis (Y1) next to the right/left wall in the graph, select Format 3D Right/Left Y1 Header, and then select the desired Font format in the dialog box.
