Additional graph options for all graph styles

In addition to using the option categories in the Graph Preferences dialog box to configure the graph components, you can also right-click some components in the graph to modify their format or drill down to get details of report data.

The following options are available for all graph styles. For additional options specific to a graph style, check under the graph style.

• Format Title: Right-click the title of the graph, select Format Title, and then select the desired Font format in the dialog box.

• Clear Title: Right-click the title of the graph and select Clear Title to remove the title.

• Format Background: Right-click anywhere outside the graph frame and away from the legend area, select Format Background, and select the desired Line and Fill format for the borders and the background of the graph.

• Drill on {attributeX}: Right-click anywhere outside the graph frame and away from the legend area and select Drill on {attributeX} (for example, Month) to drill down to a level of data, in a direction of your choice. {AttributeX} changes depending on the attributes displayed in your report.

  • Drill on {attributeY}: Right-click anywhere in the legend area and select Drill {attributeY} (for example, Subcategory) to drill down to a level of data, in a direction of your choice. {AttributeY} changes depending on the attributes displayed in your report.

    {Attribute} in the above two options varies depending on the innermost attribute for the axis.

• Format Legend Area: Right-click the legend area, select Format Legend Area, and then select the desired Line and Fill format for the legend area.

• Format Legend Text: Right-click the legend text, select Format Legend Text, and then select the desired Font, Line, and Fill format for all the legend text.

• Clear Legend Text: Right-click the legend text, select Clear Legend Text to remove all the legend text from the graph.
