3D Surface: Layout category

In the Display category for 3D Surface graphs, some or all of the following options are available depending on what type of 3D Surface graph you are formatting:

  • Type: Allows you to select a layout type:

  • 3D Surface: Displays all data points as a three-dimensional surface, in which only the top surface area is displayed. This option displays the graph as a three-dimensional, flat plane that varies by height and angle.

  • 3D Surface with Sides: Displays all data points as a three-dimensional surface, in which the top surface and the sides are displayed. This option displays the graph as a three-dimensional, solid object, which its top surface varies by height and angle.

  • Honeycomb Surface: Displays all data points as a three-dimensional surface, in which only the sides are displayed. This option displays the graph as three-dimensional, vertical sides that vary by height and angle.
