Import Data from Strategy Community Data Connectors

Strategy Community Data Connectors allow you to import data from different data sources into your Strategy One platform. These connectors are shipped out-of-the-box.

To use Community Data connectors with Strategy Web, your administrator must perform the steps in Strategy Community Data Connectors.

Starting in MicroStrategy ONE Update 12, the following Community Data connectors were added to the new data import experience:

Starting in MicroStrategy 2021 Update 8, the new data import experience also includes OneDrive and Box Community Data connectors.

Strategy Community Data Connectors allow you to import data from different data sources into your Strategy One platform. These connectors are shipped out-of-the-box.

Limitations

The Strategy connector creates a cube from a snapshot of data from the original data source, such as a cube or report. It references the original data source it was created from. When you move the connector cube across environments or projects using the package manager, the underlying data source remains unchanged. The main purpose of the connector is to create refreshable snapshots of data. It is not intended to be used as a migration tool.

Supported Authentication Types

The Strategy connector supports standard and LDAP authentication.
