How to Start, Stop, or Restart a Service

You can start, stop, or restart individual MicroStrategy services such as Intelligence Server, Tomcat, or Badge at the service level through the MicroStrategy Cloud Platform.

1. From the MicroStrategy Cloud Platform click to expand your environment details.
2. Open the Server Instance tab.
3. Click the icon next to a listed service.

4. Click the icon in the Actions column and select Start, Stop, or Restart.

   • During startup the State will display as . When State displays Running the service is ready.

   • During shutdown the State will display as . When State displays Stopped the service is inactive.

   • During restart the State will display as . When State displays Running the service is ready.
