How to Modify a User

Modifying a user allows you to change any information about a user to better suit your needs. For example, you can change the user's name, description, and password information, disable the account, change project access, security information, group membership, or authentication.

  1. Access the Intelligence Server Administrator page. (How?)
  2. Hover over the Properties column and click Open Intelligence Server Administration Portal .
  3. Click User Manager . A list of the user groups that reside on the Intelligence Server appears.
  4. In the Actions column, select the Edit icon for the user to modify. The User Editor opens.
  5. Make the necessary changes.

  6. Click OK.
