How to Assign a Security Role to a User
Security roles allow you to bundle privileges together to provide an easy way to grant multiple security privileges to large numbers of users. You can apply a security role to a group of users or to an individual user.

Access the Intelligence Server Administrator page. (How?)

On the Intelligence Server Administrator page, select Security Role Manager. The Security Role Manager opens.

In the Actions column, select the Edit icon
for the security role to assign
to a user. The Security Role Editor
opens. -
On the Members tab, select the specific users to assign the security role to. To do this, select the group and click > to add it to the Selected list. You can search for a user by typing the user's name in the Search field.
- Depending on your privileges, you can, from the drop-down menu, select the project for which to apply the security role.

Click OK.
