Area: Dual Y Options category

In the Dual Y Options category for Area graphs, some or all of the following options are available depending on what type of Area graph you are formatting:

• Primary (Y1) Axis/Secondary (Y2) Axis: Allows you to select a series label from the Primary (Y1) Axis list, and click the [>>] tab to move the series to the Secondary (Y2) Axis. Or select a series label from the Secondary (Y2) Axis list, and click the [<<] tab to move the series to the Primary [Y1) axis. At least one series should be selected for each axis.

• Split Position: Available when the Dual Axes and Split Dual Axes check boxes are selected on the Layout category of the Graph Preferences dialog box. Split Position allows you to determine what percentage of the displayed graph is taken up by each axes. Use the slider to see a sample of how the display changes on the left.

  • You can also use the up and down arrows to change the percentage in the box or you can type a percentage number directly in the box.

• Show Axis Split: Displays or hides the dual axes split line.
