How to Access Project Defaults and User Preferences

Administrators and users can access and modify a number of MicroStrategy Web project defaults and users preferences to customize the way they work with reports, documents, grids, graphs, prompts, and more.

  1. Log into MicroStrategy Web.
  2. Click the username drop-down in the upper-right and choose Preferences.
  3. Administrators can access project defaults by clicking Project Defaults in the left pane. The general project defaults appear. Links in the left pane provide additional preferences for various features.

  4. Users can access their preferences by clicking User Preferences in the left pane. The general user preferences appear. Links in the left pane provide additional preferences for various features.
