How to Specify Which Projects are Displayed to Users

You can determine which MicroStrategy projects are displayed in MicroStrategy Web before a user logs in. You can specify whether users:

Can view all projects that are connected to MicroStrategy Web, even before they log in to MicroStrategy Web.
Can view only projects that they have the privileges to view, after they log in to MicroStrategy Web.

Access the MicroStrategy Web Administrator page. (How?)
From the pane on the left, select Default properties. The Default Server Properties page opens.
In the Login area, select one of the following from the Project list drop-down list:
- To allow users to view all projects that are connected to MicroStrategy Web, even before they log in to MicroStrategy Web, select the Show all projects connected to the Web server before the user logs in checkbox.
- To ensure that users must log in before they can view projects they have access to, select the Log in, then show the projects accessible by the supplied login checkbox.
Click Save.
