How to Associate Delivery Schedules with a Project

You can determine which delivery schedules can be used by subscriptions in a project using the Schedule project defaults page. For example, the On Sales Database Load schedule may not be relevant to the Human Resources project. You can configure the Human Resources project so that the On Sales Database Load schedule is not listed as an option for subscriptions in that project.

  1. Log in to a project using an account with administrative privileges.

  2. From the upper right of any page, click the username drop-down and select Preferences. The Preferences page opens.

  3. From the pane on the left, select Project Defaults.

  4. From the pane on the left, select Schedule. The Schedule project defaults page opens.

  5. Select one of the following options under Schedule:

    • To allow subscriptions in the project to use any schedule, select the Allow users to subscribe to all schedules option.

    • To specify which schedules to make available for subscriptions in the current project, select the Only allow users to subscribe to schedules in the list below option, then do one of the following for each schedule displayed:

      • To allow users to create subscriptions using the schedule, select the schedule and click the right arrow to move the schedule to the right column.

      • To prevent users from creating subscriptions using the schedule, select the schedule and click the left arrow to move the schedule to the left column.

  6. Click Save.
