How to Provide Administrator Contact Information to Users

You can provide your contact information to MicroStrategy Web users. The contact information is automatically displayed when the user encounters an error generated by MicroStrategy Web. This will allow users to contact you or another administrator if they encounter an issue. The contact information is not displayed for errors from sources other than MicroStrategy Web, such as Intelligence Server.

  1. Log in to MicroStrategy Web using an account with administrative privileges.

  2. From the upper right of any page, click the username drop-down and select Preferences.

  3. From the pane on the left, select Project Defaults.

  4. Select General.

  5. Type your contact information in the Administrator contact info field.

  6. From the drop-down list at the bottom, select whether the changes are applied to all projects on the Intelligence Server or only the current project.

  7. Click Apply.
