User Editor: Addresses Tab

In the Addresses tab, you can create email, file, or printer delivery addresses for this user. Addresses are part of the MicroStrategy Distribution Services product. For information on Distribution Services, see Administering report delivery with MicroStrategy Distribution Services in the MicroStrategy Developer help (formerly the MicroStrategy Desktop help).

Address Name: The displayed name for the address.

Physical Address: The address of the email, file, or printer. Email addresses are in standard email address form. File and printer addresses are network paths to the file storage location or networked printer location where a subscribed report or document file will be delivered to.

Device: A device specifies how reports and documents should be formatted and sent to an email address, file location, or printer. You create a new device whenever you need a specific combination of properties and settings for a file, email, or print device to deliver files. For details and examples on devices, see Creating Devices in the MicroStrategy Developer help (formerly the MicroStrategy Desktop help).

Click Edit to edit any of these properties for an address.
