Bevel dialog box
You can apply a bevel effect to several objects on a graph report, including the graph frames and legends. Bevel effects apply three-dimensional framing effects to the graph object.
Bevel effects cannot be used in conjunction with gradient effects.
For steps on how to apply a bevel effect, see Steps to apply a bevel effect to a graph object. A bevel effect can be applied using the following options:
-
From the Bevel Type drop-down list, select from several bevel effects, such as Chiseled Edge or Sphere, to apply to the object.
The Donut and Sphere effects are applied to all circular (a Pie chart, for example), polygonal (a Radar chart, for example), or rectangular (a Bar graph, for example) types of graphs. However, the Smooth and Chiseled Edge effects are not applied to any circular types of graphs.
-
Once you select a bevel type, you can also use the Depth, Light Angle, and Intensity sliders to fine-tune the bevel effect. You can click OK to view an updated preview of your graph report to see how the bevel effect is applied.
