Group Tables
Tables that contain the exact same set of objects can be grouped together to represent a single table.
- Multiple partitioned tables in a database with the same DBRole and namespace
- Multiple .csv files in a URL location
- Multiple Excel sheets
- Partitioned tables from two different sources.
- Create a document or open an existing one.
- Choose Data > Add Dataset.
- Click Add External Data.
- Select a database source.
- Import tables with the same schema.
- Click Prepare Data.
- During import a dialog appears prompting you to select the tables you want to group.
- You can add or remove tables from the existing partition on the Preview Dialog. Click the drop-down arrow for the table you want to modify, choose Group Partition, and select or deselect tables.
