New Dashboard Editor in Workstation

Starting in Strategy One (September 2025), you can enable a new Dashboard Editor in Workstation. This enhanced authoring experience has even more parity with Library capabilities.

Ensure that Workstation is connected to Library Strategy One (September 2025) or later; the new Dashboard Editor is not supported by earlier versions. If you are connected to an earlier version of Library, the classic Dashboard Editor is used.

New Dashboard Editor Experience Enhancements

The new Workstation Dashboard Editor incorporates most features from the Library Dashboard Editor, bridging the gap between the Library and Workstation editors. This delivers a more consistent user experience.

The new Dashboard Editor adds support for some previously unavailable features, such as:

Toolbar icons have been updated to use the same icons as the Library Dashboard Editor for a consistent user experience.

All new dashboard features starting with Strategy One (September 2025) are available only in the new Dashboard Editor.

The new Dashboard menu contains the following options for easier access:

  • Download Dashboard

  • Export to PDF

  • Dashboard Properties

Useful features specific to Workstation, such as switching dashboards from the Window menu (as shown below) and recording in the change journal, are still available in the new Dashboard Editor.

Enable the New Dashboard Editor

  1. Open Workstation.
  2. From the Help menu, select Enable New Dashboard Editor.
