Metric Editor: View menu

The options in the View menu hide and display panes and additional properties on the Metric Editor.

The menu contains the following options:

• Show/Hide Level (Dimensionality) Properties: toggles the display of the grouping and filtering settings in the Metric definition pane. For more information, see Show/Hide Dimensionality Properties.

  The Level Properties option is available only if the metric definition or formula is selected in the Metric component pane (located under the heading "Metric (metric name) is defined as").

• Show/Hide Function Parameters: toggles the display of any function parameters not using default values.

  The Function Parameters option is available only if the metric definition or formula is selected in the Metric component pane.

• Object Browser: toggles the display of the Object Browser.

• Shortcuts displays or hides the Shortcut Bar containing the My Shortcuts group. This group includes shortcut icons to all project-level public objects, as well as personal folders. You can customize the Shortcut Bar by adding, renaming, and deleting groups and folders.

  The Shortcuts option is available only if the Object Browser is displayed.

• Refresh: redisplays the metric, reflecting updated values for components that were just modified.

If the Subtotals/Aggregation tab is selected, only Refresh is available.
