Metric Editor: Subtotals/Aggregation tab

Use the Subtotals/Aggregation tab to select the following functions for the metric:

• The default function for report subtotals

• The function used for dynamic aggregation, which is the rollup of metric values that occurs when an attribute is moved from the report grid to the Report Objects

• The functions available for subtotals

Subtotals at run time

In addition to the functions provided by the Metric Editor, you can apply subtotals dynamically, that is, directly from a displayed report or during report/template creation. The Subtotals dialog box allows you to:

• Select the functions to calculate the subtotals

• Specify the format and location for subtotal display
