MicroStrategy Menu
Once, the Web Customization Editor is deployed and configured, a MicroStrategy menu is added to the default Eclipse menu.
Viewing the MicroStrategy menu

If the MicroStrategy Web Customization Editor perspective is open, you will see a MicroStrategy menu option in the list of default Eclipse menus. If the MicroStrategy Web Customization Editor perspective is not open, go to Window->Open Perspective->Other, select MicroStrategy and click OK. The Web Customization Editor gets launched and a MicroStrategy menu option (shown below) gets added to the list of default Eclipse menus.
The MicroStrategy menu offers the following options.

New Style—Launches the Style Creation wizard which guides you through the process of creating a new style.

New MicroStrategy Project— Launches the New MicroStrategy Project wizard. This allows you to interact with MicroStrategy Web software code for customization purposes.

Launch Developer Library— Launches the MicroStrategy Developer Library (MSDL). The location of the MSDL is specified in the MicroStrategy Developer Library settings in MicroStrategy Preferences.

Launch Web API Reference— Launches the Web API Reference available as a part of the MSDL. New MicroStrategy Project wizard. The location of the MSDL is specified in the MicroStrategy Developer Library settings in MicroStrategy Preferences.

Launch Web Services Wizard— Launches the Web Services Wizard based on the location specified in the Ant root directory.

Launch Web browser—Launches MicroStrategy Web in a Web browser inside the Eclipse IDE. This allows you to view the outcome of your customization. The URL for MicroStrategy Web is specified in the Deploying and Configuring the Web Customization Editor step.

Launch Conflict Log—Launches the Conflict Log for Customizations dialog. This dialog scans all the plug-ins in the plugins folder and identifies potential conflicts among them.

Launch Upgrade Wizard—Launches the Customization Upgrade wizard to upgrade your customizations from 8.x versions of MicroStrategy Web to the current version of MicroStrategy Web.

Search— Launches the Search MicroStrategy Objects window. This window allows you to perform a search on settings available through the Web Customization Editor.
