How to View and Edit Dataset or Cube Properties

You can view and edit properties for datasets or cubes that you have permission to access through a connected environment. Your ability to edit the properties and security depends on your permissions. You may not have all of the options listed below.

To view and edit dataset or cube properties

1. Open the Workstation window with the Navigation pane in smart mode.
2. In the Navigation pane, click Datasets.
3. Right-click the dataset or cube you want to view or edit and select Properties.
4. View the file properties for the dataset or cube.
5. Click Change Cover Page.
6. Enter a URL for a cover page image or select a cover page image from the pop-up dialog.
7. Click Save
8. Select Certified Cube or Certified Dataset to certify the dataset or cube. Certified items have typically been reviewed by trusted members of your organization and are considered official sources of content, based on reliable data.
9. Click OK
