Enabling SAML Authentication Mode
Chrome Web Browser version 80 introduces new changes to cross-site embedding. For more information, see KB484005: Chrome v80 Cookie Behavior and the Impact on MicroStrategy Deployments.
To use SAML authentication it needs to be enabled on MicroStrategy Library as a login mode.
- Launch the Library Admin page by entering the following URL in your web browserCopy
http://<FQDN>:<port>/MicroStrategyLibrary/admin
where
<FQDN>
is the Fully Qualified Domain Name of the machine hosting your MicroStrategy Library application, and<port>
is the assigned port number. -
On the Library Web Server tab, select SAML from the list of available Authentication Modes.
If you use MicroStrategy Identity Server as your SAML identity provider, select MicroStrategy Identity Server.
- Click Create Trusted Relationship to establish trusted communication between Library Web Server and Intelligence server.
Ensure the Intelligence server information is entered correctly before establishing this trusted relationship.

Click Save.

- Restart your Web server to apply the changes.
