Insert Function Wizard: Select Function

The Select Function page displays functions, operators, and plug-in packages. When you select any folder, the contents of that folder are displayed in the next list to the right.

Selecting a function

When a function is selected, example syntax and a description are displayed at the bottom of the page.

Select one of the following options to proceed, depending on the function you chose:

• To continue the wizard, click Next. Depending on whether the selected function requires arguments and/or parameters, the next page can be any of the following:

  • Arguments

  • Parameters

  • Break-By

  • Sort-By

  If Next is disabled, the function uses neither arguments nor parameters. Click Finish to enter the function into the expression.

• To manually enter the argument and parameter values for your selected function(s), clickFinishto exit the wizard.
