Insert Function Wizard: Break-By

The Break-By page is displayed if the selected function is a relative function, which accepts BreakBy parameters. Examples of relative functions are RunningStdevP, Rank, and NTile. The calculation is reset for each attribute or hierarchy set as a BreakBy parameter.

You have the following options:

• Add: Opens the Select Objects dialog box. You can then select the objects to include as BreakBy parameters for the function.

• Remove: Select an object in the list to the left and click Remove to remove the object as a BreakBy parameter for the function.

• Reset: Removes all the objects in the list, clearing any BreakBy parameters that were set.

To continue with the wizard, click Next. The Sort-By page opens.

If Next is disabled, the function does not require any further input. Click Finish to enter the function into the expression.
