Connect to Hive via DSN

1. Create a new database instance and set the database connection type to Hive 0.14x.

2. Select Hive Conn as the Database connection.

   

3. Click New next to Database connection to create a new database connection that points to your DSN.

   

4. Select hivedsn as the local ODBC data source.
5. Select Hive LDAP Login as the default database login name.
6. Click New under Default database login name.

7. Configure and store credentials for login.

   

8. Click OK.
