Pin and Freeze Columns in a Modern Grid

Starting in Microstrategy ONE (June 2024), modern grids allow you to pin columns either to the left or right side. Moreover, you have the option to freeze multiple columns, up to a designated column.

  1. To pin columns, right-click a column header and choose Pin Column > to the Left or Pin Column > to the Right. When multiple columns are pinned to the left or right, they are grouped in the pinned area on the left or right side of the grid.

    Pinned columns are not applicable in MicroStrategy Library Mobile.

  2. To unpin all columns, right-click a column header and choose Unpin All Columns.
  3. To freeze columns, right-click a column header and choose Freeze Up to This Column.
  4. To unfreeze all columns, right-click a column header and choose Unfreeze All Columns.
