Hiding and displaying the ruler

The ruler helps you position controls on the Layout area.

To hide or display the ruler

1. Open a document. (How?)

2. Click Ruler on the toolbar.

   You can also select Ruler from the View menu.

If the ruler is currently hidden, it is displayed above the Layout area; if currently displayed, it becomes concealed.
