Formatting text using the Format Objects dialog box

Use the Format Objects dialog box to format the font, alignment, number format, border, and color options of a text field. You can set the font color and background fill. You can use gradient colors (a two-color combination) for the background. You can choose whether to display the text field with 3D effects, as either a raised or sunken button, and with a drop shadow, which "floats" the text field on top of the background. You can display text vertically to control the orientation of text fields in PDF view and in all MicroStrategy Web display modes.
