Share Auto Bots

Starting in MicroStrategy ONE Update 12, you can Share and Manage Access for Bots. Administrators can enable these features and customize email notifications.

Bots are supported in MicroStrategy Cloud environments. Starting in MicroStrategy ONE (March 2024), they are also supported in the MicroStrategy Cloud for Government platform.

For new installations, the Manage Access option is enabled by default. For existing installations, the Manage Access option is disabled by default.

Enable Share Bot and Manage Access

  1. Open the Workstation window.

  2. In the Navigation pane, click Applications.

  3. Edit the (Default) MicroStrategy Application or click New Application.

  4. In the left pane, click Components.

  5. Expand Share under Bot Window.

  6. Enable Manage Access and Share Bot.

  7. Click Save.

Configure Email Content for a Bot

  1. Open the Workstation window.

  2. In the Navigation pane, click Applications.

  3. Right-click an application and choose Edit.

  4. In the left pane, click Email Communication.

  5. Select the Configure email content for this application checkbox.

  6. Expand the Subject & Body Text section.

  7. Enter content in Subject and Body Text for your chosen case.

  8. Click Save.
