Set Default Authentication for Library Web in Workstation

Starting in MicroStrategy 2021 Update 8, the administrator can choose the default authentication mode for the Library server in Workstation. To make this change using the Library server config file instead, see Set Default Authentication for Library Web Using the Library Server Config File.

  1. Open the Workstation window.
  2. In the Navigation pane, click Environments.

  3. Right-click an environment and choose Properties.

    Choose Get Info if you are using a Mac.

  4. In the left pane, click Library.

  5. In Authentication Modes, set one of the selected authentication modes as the default.

  6. Click OK.
