Document Editor menu bar options: File

Options in this menu allow file manipulation.

The following File menu options are specific to the Document Editor:

Import Document: imports the layouts of an existing document into this document, usingthe Select a Document dialog box. For details, seeImporting layouts.
Page Setup: opens the Page Setup dialog box, which allows you to modify the document's appearance before viewing or printing the PDF. Page Setup properties include margins, page orientation, scaling, and horizontal fit.

The following File menu options are specific to the Document Editor in PDF View only:

Export to PDF: opens the current PDF in a separate window outside of the Document Editor. You can then return to the Document Editor, switch to Design View, and edit the document, while keeping a copy of the PDF open for reference. Export to Excel: opens the document as an Excel file in a separate window. For more information and instructions, see Exporting documents to Excel.
Export to Flash: exports the document to a Flash file, which is a fully interactive, stand-alone Flash Report Services (RS) dashboard. The Flash file allows HTML content, images, Flash content, and other types of information to be exported in a single file that can be opened by an Internet browser. Export to HTML: exports the document to an HTML file. For more information and instructions, see Exporting documents to HTML.
Email Document As: emails the document as either a PDF file or an Excel file.
Schedule Delivery To: sends the document to the History List, the cache, or MicroStrategy Mobile.
