Media Dialog Box
You can specify display options for a Media widget, such as the background color and whether to show a Play button, using the Media dialog box.
To access the Media dialog box
In Presentation Mode, right-click the Media widget and select Properties.
General Tab Options
- Content Type: Determine the content type that will display in the widget. You can display video, audio, web content (Flash only), or images (Flash only).
- Default Feed: Specify the location of the content.
- Use Proxy: Determine whether to use a proxy. This checkbox is selected by default.
- Tooltip Text: Type the text that is displayed when an analyst hovers the cursor over the widget. This text can be used to identify the media in the widget.
- Background Color: Select the background color of the widget.
- Popup Content when Clicked: Determine
whether to display the widget automatically or after clicking a button.
- To display the widget immediately when the document is opened, clear the checkbox.
- To hide the widget and display a button, select the checkbox. The user can click the button to display the widget.
- Display Content: Select whether
the widget displays in a new window or in the existing window. Available
if Popup Content when Clicked is selected.
- Inline: The widget will be displayed in the document after the button is clicked.
- New Window: The widget will be displayed in a new browser window after the button is clicked.
- Button Text: Type the text to display on the button. Available if Popup Content when Clicked is selected.
Play Frequency Tab Options
This tab is available only when the content type is video or audio.
- Show Play Button Control: Determine whether to display the Play button in the widget. If the Play button is not displayed, the media cannot be controlled by the user. This checkbox is selected by default.
- Auto Play on Start: Determine whether to play the feed data automatically. This checkbox is cleared by default.
- Select either Play Once or Continuous Play from the drop-down list, to determine whether to play the feed data once or loop it continuously.
