Importing a table into a Query Builder report

You can import a database table into the Warehouse Catalog with the Query Builder Editor while creating your Query Builder report. Once a table is imported into the Warehouse Catalog, you can use the table to build queries for your Query Builder reports.

To import a table into the Warehouse Catalog

1. Access the Query Builder Editor.

2. From the Object Browser, browse to the Warehouse Catalog folder.

3. Double-click All Available Tables. A list of all of the database tables for the database instance appears.

4. Select a table from the Object Browser pane and drag it into the Tables and Joins pane (the top pane on the right).
