Adding a table to a Query Builder report

Tables reference the physical table structures in your data source that hold the column data to be included in your Query Builder reports.

To include a table in the SQL query created in your Query Builder report, you can add an imported database table to the Tables and Joins pane (the top pane on the right). If the table that you want has not been imported yet, you can import tables using the Query Builder Editor.

To add a table

  1. Access the Query Builder Editor.

  2. From the Object Browser, browse to the Warehouse Catalog folder.

  3. Select a table from the Object Browser pane and drag it into the Tables and Joins pane (the top pane on the right).
