Save Your Dashboard
You can make changes to a dashboard, then save it for easy access at a later date. The entire dashboard, including visualizations, filters, and associated datasets, is saved as an .mstr file. You can share this file with other Strategy Workstation users, or upload this file to transfer your data from Strategy Workstation to the latest version of Strategy Web. Other users can open the file in their own environments and modify the dashboard.

Do one of the following:

To save the dashboard and continue editing, click Save

To save a copy of the dashboard using a different name, from the File menu, select Save As.

- If this is the first time you are saving the dashboard or if you are saving a copy:
- Navigate to and select the location in which to save the dashboard.
- Type the dashboard Name.
- Click Save or OK.
- Starting in Strategy One (March 2025), optionally type a description in User Comments and click OK, if this feature is enabled.
