Analyze Data

Dashboards display business data using a variety of visually striking, interactive data representations, called visualizations. You can use visualizations to form a picture of business trends at a glance, explore relationships between data, and quickly identify areas of improvement.

You analyze data in a visualization by manipulating the data in multiple ways, including the following:

• Use natural language querying
• Organize how the data appears by sorting and pivoting it.
• Choose to include or exclude data for specific objects, on a single visualization or all visualizations on a single chapter, by filtering the data.
• Explore data at additional levels of detail beyond what is immediately visible in a visualization, by drilling on the data.
• View and save the underlying attribute and metric data within a visualization.
